Client Stories
Accounts from cold storage holders who used Desktop Havenfield allocation audits and documentation services.
Extended case: Three-device reconciliation
Client: Family trust administering inherited hardware wallets
Scope: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Polygon across three Ledger devices
Challenge: The original holder had labelled devices by colour but never recorded which seed phrase controlled which colour. Two Ethereum addresses on different devices showed identical balances, suggesting a duplicated backup.
Our audit produced a side-by-side sheet revealing that the “green” and “blue” devices shared Seed A with different derivation paths—not duplicate seeds. The trust avoided an unnecessary second backup engraving and updated their safe deposit contents accordingly. The reconciliation summary noted that one Polygon address had a handwritten balance rounded to two decimals; the on-chain figure differed by 0.003 MATIC—a logging error, not a missing asset.
Testimonials
I came in with six years of ad-hoc notes in three notebooks. The master sheet replaced all of them. One row showed a Solana address I had forgotten existed—it still held funds from a 2022 experiment. I would have missed it in a manual review because the device screen only shows five recent addresses.

The workshop was practical. I built my first sheet during the session and updated it myself after buying a second Trezor. Eun-ji walked us through derivation paths without rushing. My only reservation: the group size of six felt slightly crowded for the hands-on portion; a smaller group would have allowed more individual questions.

We needed documentation for a legal proceeding, not trading advice. Desktop Havenfield produced exactly that—printed sheets with clear address-to-seed mapping. The lawyer accepted the format without modification. Pricing was higher than I expected for a four-network scope, but the multi-sig column blocks justified the quote.

The documentation package templates are well laid out. I did not need a full audit yet—just blank forms to start organising. Delivery to Seoul took four days. Sticker quality is good; the lamination on the derivation path card is thick enough to survive a desk drawer.

James flagged a discrepancy on my Cosmos address that turned out to be a stale export I had saved weeks earlier. Refreshing the export on-site resolved it in ten minutes. Honest reporting, no drama.
